The chairperson of GAHCO - THe Gambia shall be responsible for chairing official meetings of the organisation
To supervise the programmes planning and fundraising activities
Be responsible for the conduct of the organisational activities
To supervise all activities that may further the goals and objectives of GAHCO - The Gambia
To ensure transparency and accountability to all the stakeholders
Signatory to all the accounts of GAHCO - The Gambia
He / she shall be a senior member of the executive
He / she shall step in chairing the meetings when the chairperson is unavailable or absent
Drafting all correspondence for or on behalf of the Chairperson
Taking minutes of the meeting of the board
Be responsible for the programme management and implementation
Be the custodian of all the records and record keeping of the organisation
The treasurer shall be a signatory to the accounts of the GAHCO - The Gambia
He / She shall be responsible for the management of the accounts of the organisation
He / She shall be the chief financial adviser to the board
The auditor shall be responsible for auditing all the accounts of the GAHCO - The Gambia
He / She shall ensure that all the financial transactions shall be in accordance with the approved budgets.
He / She shall report all audited accounts to the Chairman for onward transmission to the board for the reports to be reviewed.
