About Us

Gambia Joy - Give A Hand Charitable Organisation (GAHCO) is an organisation established by concerned Gambians and friends abroad committed to enhancing the living conditions of the Gambians particularly the vulnerable and most deprived in our society. Therefore in effort to meet their needs it has been decided to register a charitable organisation. The organisation is registered in The Gambia as a non-profit national organisation that will render charitable work to the poor and the most vulnerable i.e. women and children. The organisation modestly gives support to the needy communities in the areas such as education, health, disaster and environmental management.

The founders of this organisation recognise the important roles played by the concern groups in national development and therefore deserve a place in our hearts to assist them in order for them to rise up to the occasion of positively contributing to the upliftment of their living standards.

The non profit organisation called Gambia Joy - Give A Hand Charitable Organisation is committed to working with all the stakeholders in uplifting the living standards of the poor, under-privileged and the most vulnerable in our society.
