Decision Making

The Board of GAHCO - The Gambia through the Chairperson and the Secretary General calls for board meetings on major projects that the organisation intends to implement.

The agenda items shall be introduced to the board members for deliberation and decision shall be based on consensus or where there is disagreement the board shall vote, the majority shall be the binding decision.

The Chairperson shall retain the deciding vote in case of a tie during voting.

Constitutional Amendments

All amendments to the constitution shall be subjected to the approval of the members of the board of GAHCO-The Gambia.

Dissolution

• The organisation shall only be dissolved if the board file a motion of dissolution and a decision is reach for the dissolution GAHCO-The Gambia

• In the event of the organization (GAHCO - The Gambia) being dissolved as provided above ,all debts legally made on behalf of the organisation shall be fully discharged, remaining funds will be redirected according to the recommendation Board.

• Where the existing assets cannot meet the existing liabilities at the time of dissolution, all members shall remain liable to settle such liability.
